The Boys
Mitchell & James were mates. Mitch grew up in White Cliffs & James on Coon Coon Station out of White Cliffs. They meet through primary school & went to St Stannislaus college at Bathurst. They were great mates, tragically they both died in a motor vehicle accident in just out of town in January 2010. They were characters in their own right & dearly loved by their peers, families & friends. We celebrate them not morn them.

Project Goal
The signature slab was designed by their mate Bradley Latham, to commemorate The Boys. The slab has been a place for people to sign their names in memory of these special young men. For 15 years Donna-Lee has inscribed each name by hand to preserve each persons sacred space on the concrete. It's now time to consecrate these signatures for life with an engraved granite ledger. Honoring all.

Marathon Run Fundraising
Donna-Lee has long wanted to run a marathon in memory of her son Mitchell & his mate James. In her 60th year she decided its now time! She has many reason for her madness to run 42.2kms. To raise funds for the granite ledger, to bring awareness to teenage boys & the consequences of drink driving & to create a scholarship fund in memory of Mitchell to support rural boys in attaining their secondary education.
